Sheri Few is the dynamic conservative champion of less government, fewer regulations and more freedom.
A past member of the South Carolina GOP Executive Committee, Sheri founded South Carolina Parents Involved in Education to join with other public school parents concerned with increased federal role in education and the added emphasis on testing and data collection.
Sheri ran for South Carolina Superintendent of Education and won the Fifth Congressional District by more than 3,000 votes in a nine-person field, winning massive margins in the two largest counties: York and Kershaw (36 and 42 percent respectively).
In 2003, Sheri received the South Carolina Baptist Convention’s E.A. McDowell award for exemplary Christian service through involvement in public education, and was named SC 2010 Eagle by the national Eagle Forum organization for her dedicated work for God, family, and country.
The daughter of an Air Force fighter pilot and general officer, Sheri lives in Lugoff, has been married to her husband Marty for thirty-two years, and is the proud mother of four sons and one granddaughter.
